I´m really hoping this community have the answer to my problem, as this is the third place I´m seeking help. I even called my ISP, but all to no avail.
I have the following setup:
Netgear CG3000 (From my ISP) - Cabled from LAN to LAN -> Asus RT-AC66U (Setup as an Access Point)
The problem is, that the LAN port on my CG3000 is Orange, meaning the connection is only 100Mbit/s and not 1Gbit/s as it is supposed to be.
All cables have been checked and showing no faults.
A couple of weeks back I did a transfer test. It showed the following:
Synology NAS -> Netgear CG3000 -> Asus RT-AC66U -> Mediacenter = About 11 MB/s
Synology NAS -> Netgear CG3000 -> Mediacenter = About 80 MB/s
Synology NAS -> Asus RT-AC66U -> Mediacenter = About 80 MB/s
Which shows, that independently there is no problems.
However it seems to indicate that there is a communication problem when the Asus RT-AC66U is set up as access point and connected to the Netgear CG3000.
But I can´t for the life of me figure out why or what the problem is.
