How to reuse old HDD with windows installed on it

Dear reader,

I am going to upgrade my current PC with a SSD drive. I am going to disconnect my current HDD, put in the new SSD and install windows on it (clean install). After that, I would like to reuse my current HDD as the second drive in my PC. My question: Is it a problem that windows is still installed on my HDD when I plug it back into my PC with windows already installed on the SSD?

I would very much appreciate your help

I don't think it would be a problem as you didn't change the mobo or anything so you'll probably get a dual boot

It should work fine, Just make sure you change the boot order to prevent your pc booting from your old hdd.

You can also reformat your old HDD if you want to get rid of the windows install on it.
