Hello dear community. Recently my PC starting having some slow downs and strange behavior overall. I figured I messed up something or it had some kind of virus and scanned my PC with Panda Global Protection 2015 and Malwarebytes Premium. It found some things and removed them. I am going to format my PC but I will wait a little for Windows 10 Pro so I won't have to do 2 formats in such a short time. Then when I wanted to play some games, right after installing and playing some Battlefield 4, I started having ingame glitches. Some grey glitches would appear on screen on BF4 and on other games like FIFA 15 I am having some triangles (they appear on all games (?). Sorry I cant explain it any better. Also these glitches don't always appear, but (i think) mostly when a lot of things happen on screen or when the GPU is at heavy load. They only appear while gaming. I did some research and some people said that this could happen due to faulty RAM components so I used the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool but it found no problems at all. I should also mention that this started happening after the UN-installtion of some programs, including come Visual Basic versions, and changing the AMD drivers from 15.6 to 15.7. I have an Sapphire R9 280 3GB OC DUAL-X and Windows 8.1 Pro. I had it overclocked a little for some time according to some guides I had found on the web but it was on its stock values when the glitches first appeared.
I have a few questions (please answer them in this order):
1)Is this 100% due to hardware problem (possibly GPU)?
2)Is it possible for the problem to be Windows corrupted files or virus(es)?
3)Is it possible for the glitches to appear due to Visual Basic and/or DirectX files problem?
4)Is it possible for the glitches to appear due to incorrect drivers UN-installation?
5)What can I do to fix this problem?
Like I said I am going to format my PC shortly after Windows 10 release. I have no other GPU to test.
Thanks A LOT in advance!

EDIT: I did some extra research and it turns out that more people have had this problem - Static glitches? At least i think so.

My problem looks very similar to this, but like i said only while gaming.

Replace the cable, Sounds like could be a faulty cable. if i were in your shoes, i would wipe everything and do a fresh os install. Should fix all your problems unless its the hardware in your pc thats failing.

There is no direct answer to your case other then test the software/hardware one by one yourself... I've run into similar case myself after I upgraded my motherboard and gpu... And have google or ask around but no one can help me.. Tried every solution that I can find but none of them work until I format/reinstall windows.. And delete the system reserve partition and everything solve...
So for your case... I would suggest
1. Test your cable like loganpulse mention.. Either test with another cable... Or test with dvi cable if u using hdmi..
2. Test with other gpu or test your gpu on other pc
3. Try turning vsync off
4. Try lower resolution or higher/lower MHz
5. Try my method.. Format/reinstall windows and delete the system reserve partition
