it is in need of formatting and I'm not sure if the exFAT is better then NTSF. I lost about 10 years of photos and video's from global cataloging them because I thought it was great idea to help my computer move a little faster but now I cant open them or find version of computer backup that will aid in restoring them so I bought this "Monster" storage unit and its asking to be formatted in one of the two,exFAT or NTSF. I'm very unclear as to what is needed to create a backup that ill be able to view in the future with ease. HELP!!!
