Hi all,
I'd like to preface this thread with a couple of things:
1) I'm far enough away from my router that an Ethernet cable is not viable, but not far enough to need a wireless repeater.
2) I did buy a PCI adapter (this one) but it is terrible. The connection drops every 15-20 minutes and no amount of troubleshooting will fix it, I also seem to only get 2/5 wireless bars.
I decided to use my sister's TL-WN821N, this results in 5/5 bars and a rock solid connection - hence the decision to jump to a USB adapter.
With that out of the way... Here are the challengers:
1) TL-WN821N - The same as mentioned above, I'm tempted to go with this as I've already had a good experience with.
2) TL-WN722N - 1 antenna beats no antennas right?
3) TL-WN822N - If the above logic holds, then 2 antennas > 1 antenna?
If you have any better / alternative suggestions, I'm all ears.
Last couple of things:
- My budget is around £15
- I'm on Windows 7, but plan to move to 10 in a few months
Thanks in advance, Mix
