I was wondering if my old mobile workstation graphics card will work with my new motherboard and system. My old graphics card is a NVIDIA Quadro FX 1600M from my Dell Precision M6300 mobile workstation. It is a 128-bit graphics card that runs through PCI-E x8.
This is my build:http://
Thank you in advance.

It doesn't work like that. Laptop cards are linked internally to the monitor, and have no output, where desktop cards have outputs on them.

EDIT - If you're looking for a cheap workstation solution, Newegg has Quadro 1800 cards refurbished for $100

In order to use a laptops MXM gpu on a desktop you would need a MXM to pci-e adapter, plus you would need to find some way of attaching a heatsink and fan to keep it cool. So while it is possible its not feasible.
