I own a Palit GTX 750 Ti and OC-ed it's core clock to a mere +100Mhz and even put it to merely +20Mhz and I didn't even change it's memory clock and voltage but IT CRASHED EVERY SINGLE GAME I OWN. I ended up playing my games with the stocks setting and I am REALLY disappointed. So please someone enlighten me why I should still support this brand and why can't I OC the card and let it be played to its full potential? I am on the point of giving up on this card and get a new card...

Here is my build
MoBo: M5 A97 R2.0
CPU: AMD FX 6300 Vishera 6-cores
GPU: Palit GTX 750 Ti Storm X
PSU: Silverstone SST ST50F 500watt
HD: One 1TB One 4TB both WD green
SSD:Samsung EVO 128GB
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4, Cooler Master Silencio 120, Noctua NF-S12A

That unit is not amazing, but it is a true 500w.

The problem lies in the fact that your 750 ti runs completely off the power of the pcie slot alone. This is why you crash when you try to overclock.

You should have gotten a 750 ti version that requires additional pcie cables to be plugged in to supply the needed power when overclocking.

In short you are already seeing it's max potential.

Thank you, now I know. This means that it's max potential is not enough because of it's lacking hardware so therefore I should give up on Palit even though it's cheaper

I'm not sure this is the problem- the 750TI is designed to run off the slot power- though to test this you could try stripping out some components and see if you can then get an OC. Or run your components through http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/ to see what it recommends as a PSU's total wattage for your rig.

Even if this is the problem, no need to shoot the Palit- it's your power supply not the card itself.

I have a Zotac 750Ti and I can OC core clock 134MHz, don't touch the memory clock. Perhaps your Pelit board has a voltage lock, download Sapphire Trixx and see if you can change the voltage settings. My 750Ti runs off the PCI-E slot, has no PCI-E connector.

Your zotac has a base clock of 1033 mhz, even if yours was the overclocked version, it's base is 1046, his is maxed out and because of no 6 pin power slot can't go any higher. His base is way higher than normal 750 ti's, even aftermarket ones.

Palit offers this 750 Ti as factory overclocked StormX Dual edition. As such the core clock frequency of both products has been increased from 1020 Mhz towards a whopping 1202 MHz with the memory being factory overclocked from 5400 MHz towards 6008 MHz (effective data-rate). These two factor alone will make this amongst the fastest GTX 750 Ti cards available on the market today.

His base is 1220 or whatever...plus whatever he boosts too...his is overclocked from factory way over everyone elses card. Your plus 140 overclock is still lower than his base from the factory.
