CPU SPECS:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1090T BE
GPU: Radeon 5970HD
Ram: 4x4gb (G.Skill Ares)
Mobo: Asrock 890FX deluxe 3
OS: Win 7

Hello people,

I'm just wondering if this spec is significantly outdated and needs a major upgrade?
The only problem is that mobo socket is pretty much done and probably needs a total overhaul.

Also, with this spec, is the cpu bottle-necking the gpu or the other way around?

Your specs maybe old but it is still enough for games today , you do not need any update till new AMD cpu reach production level which is end of 2016
Wait till end 2016 and then start thinking of a total upgrade after new cpu reviews .
also please upgrade into win10 when it is released
No , cpu is not bottlenecking your GPU .
