So my friend just bought a new Computer, beast one with 960 or 970 GTX and i7-3770 and 8 gb rams so I was wondering what Power supply would he need? like he has one gives 260W- 300 Watts , is that enough ? if not can you give me a Model to buy?

Solution
Not enough.
The psu is mostly determined by the graphics card.
You are looking at 430w for GTX960 or 500w for GTX970.

Of equal, or perhaps more importance is the quality of the psu.
Look for a tier 1 or 2 unit from this list:

I have no problem overprovisioning a PSU a bit. Say 20%.
It will run cooler, quieter, and more efficiently in the middle third of it's range.
A PSU will only use the wattage demanded of it, regardless of it's max capability.
A graphics card upgrade would then be seamless.
