Are the ports for an EVGA gtx 970 SSC ACX 2.0+ supposed to upside down on the back of the computer?

Just installed my graphics card, but everything on the back of the pc seems to look upside down, like the hdmi port. I'm pretty sure I installed the card correctly (fan facing down, logo facing up), but let me know if it's supposed to be like that.

I actually got up to check the back of my card...
Yes, that is correct. The text on my HDMI cable is on the bottom side, as is my DVI.

Well, as long as the gold parts are in the PCIe slot, and not up dancing in the breeze, the video card is installed right... So I'm not real sure what you are getting at here.

There really is only one way to install a video card. You plug the golden tipped fins into the PCIe slot, and you screw down the bracket that is at the rear of the case, and the various ports then stick out the back of the computer so that you can attach cables that go to your monitor.
