So this build was giving me some frustrations in the beginning and I had to RMA an 8350 that was dead out of the box, but AMD was cool and gave me a brand new one at no charge. After that, things went smoothly for about a month and a half to two months. I usually turn my PC off at night, but one night my friend was staying over and I forgot to shut her down. I woke up to some overclocking error message (that I naively thought nothing of so I didn't read) and I turned it off hoping that I could go into the BIOS and tweak the turbo settings that I turned on originally. I did not overclock in the traditional way, but I just turned on "turbo" settings or something that apparently overclocked for you automatically. Well, after I turned the computer off, it would not boot or POST and output no video whatsoever. I tried reseating every single component in the computer but nothing fixed the problem. I even tried resetting the CMOS battery thing to no avail. I have disconnected and reconnected every wire in the case, especially power and motherboard cables. I just don't get why this happened almost two months after the PC had been working beautifully; my temps were pretty good, not concerning in the slightest, and the machine flew like a dream. Any idea what the problem could be? Did I make a mistake by using the stupid turbo OC Genie bullshit? Thanks for any help in advance.
