Hi, first off I will try and explain what the idea is behind this build. Primarily it will be a gaming PC, however I like to dabble with different hobbies/interests from time to time so I would also like the capability to do some video editing/rendering, streaming, music producing, etc. I would like the games I will be playing (LoL, Witcher 3, Arkham Knight, Fallout 4, Ark, Star Citizen, CS:GO, etc) to be able to run as high as possible at 60 FPS. I am aware of the issues with Witcher 3, Ark and Star Citizen at the minute but it will give you a general idea of what I like to play. Also, my girlfriend is studying architecture at university and she may use it from time to time for programs such as SketchUp, AutoDesk (CAD/Revit), Photoshop, Illustrator, etc, so please try to keep that in mind but I don't want it to massively effect my build. She has her own laptop for this so the likelihood is she will only use my computer if her laptop is having problems.

I've done a bit of looking around the site and other sites for suggested build around my price range, which is ~£2000, give or take a few hundred. The below is what I have come up with so far however I still need a case and two monitors. I would like the monitors to be at least 1080p and 144hz with a good ms (<5 I think?) but if this isn't possible could you advise on a different idea? Although it's not imperative, I would like the monitors to be the same size and style, even if the specs aren't necessarily the same. As for the case, I really aren't that bothered so long as it will fit my parts in and not have any cooling issues. What I will say is that I am planning on upgrading down the line, maybe adding another GPU and one or two SSDs/HDDs, so if you could factor in that then it would be great. I will not be overclocking this build so could potentially upgrade CPU down the line as the price comes down. Right now I don't see the justification in an extra ~£150 for a 5930K but down the line it might be worth the extra money to bump up to a 5960X if the price is right.

Even though I've asked that the focus be on the monitor/case, if you could have a quick skim over the other parts and see if there's anything glaringly wrong about it that would be great too. Suggestions to make this build better for around the same price are more than welcome also!

Apologies for the wall of text and I look forward to seeing your suggestions! Here is my build:

Noctua DH-15 or be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 67.8 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler

5820 is 28 pci-e lanes, 5930 and 5960 are 40 lanes so future plan is good for SLI.

I suppose your experience with all of this silence is because you have nailed an X99
system in your first go. The cooler is just a good idea for the CPU class you've chosen.

I have no suggestions for monitors. Maybe you could look in gaming forums. I have a
30" with two 20 inch side panels. Depending on your space you could do a couple of
24" for a reasonable amount or even 27".

Thank you for your reply. I think I'm going to go with the Noctua NH-D15 as I've heard the Hyper EVO can be loud at times and I've seen good reviews on the Noctua one. However, I've heard it is quite big and I'm worried it will cause issues with my motherboard, do you think I will encounter any problems?

Here is my revised list, with case and monitors, what are your thoughts?

Three issues with cooler size, one is the case, the physical fit (maximum CPU cooler height 180mm) and two is the clearance
over the RAM (In chassis with more than 165mm CPU cooler clearance, the front fan can be moved upwards to make room for
memory modules taller than 32mm), three, it overhanging and being a block to the first pci-e slot which isn't a big issue.

The motherboard itself should easily handle the Noctua mount.

There is still the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3.

As for price, big money is spent where it should be, CPU, GPU and MB. PS is beefy and RAM and SSD are supportive
of the build. I think this is a base price for what you want.
