Right now i have a FX 6300 being cooled by a evo 212
and i have a GTX 960 2gb made by EVGA FTW edition
I'm upgrading my motherboard to a MSI 970 gaming edition AM3+ motherboard (the red and black to fit my colors)
I have a CX750w power supply by corsair.

In the future i will be upgrading to a 8350 processor

With this all in mind, should i sell my GTX 960 and get a GTX 970
or SLI the 960's?

I know the 970 will out perform but i also absolutely love my 960.

Thoughts?

Well 2 GTX 960's beats one 970.

See these benchmarks:

But the GTX 970 is cheaper and one higher card is always better than two lower cards. So I would buy a GTX 970 and it should work reallly well in your system.

The thing I would change in your system would be the CPU, I always use Intel and Nvidia and never use AMD, Intel is way better for CPU's and Nvidia is better for GPU's.

I personally like AMD more than intel, yes ill admit that intel provides more performance, but at the cost its not worth it. I'd rather have a 8350 thats OC'd that is comparable to a i5 for less than 150 bucks, or a 9590 OC'd thats just slightly slower then an i7 for 229 on newegg. Price for performance is what i like. And honestly if i could afford just a chip from intel i probably would buy one. But i have no microcenter near me and my next chip is going to be the current top from amd... Which is what i can only afford lol.
