I have the Fractal R5 with a H100i GTX for CPU cooling. I have 3 140mm fans to add to the case as well from a friend.

I'm debating about placing the h100i radiator on the top or front.

I'm leaning towards putting it on the top as exhaust, and then adding those three 140mm fans so I have 2 intake on the front, and 2 intake on the bottom.

Gives me x4 intake and 3x exhaust, correct?

Solution
If you using the drive cage, you can only put one fan at the bottom. If you have along psu, then that prevent you from placing a fan at the bottom as well.
As long you run the front intakes at a higher rpm than the exhaust on the rear and fans on the H100i you can get near positive pressure.
