So my computer has recently encountered more freezing and has become slower. Since its 5 or so years old and I'm into gaming, I've decided to invest in a new Gaming PC. I would love to know which build is most likely the best in terms of Gaming Quality, Speed and components.

(I have a budget of approximately £300-£500) (Any further suggestions, builds and or ideas are welcome :)

These are a few that seemed like quite good prebuilts:

Thanks To all who reply!

PS: I have considered building my own computer but since I have never made one before and know little/moderate info on them I'd rather not risk it. I'm also 15 and the idea of a pre build setup satisfies me, however I will take anything on if it's worth it :D

[Edit : I live in the UK]

Thanks for quick reply, I would be playing games such as DOTA, TF2, WoW, MC and various other RPGS, MMO Games. Also it's unlikely and I will probably need to install some upgrades but some FPS games such as Battlefield, CSGO and or COD etc...

You should be able to run those games okay, you may not get a constant 60fps on Battlefield 4 with high settings but it should run okay.

Oh that's fine, I don't really mind constant FPS on games such Battlfield. Thanks for all your help anyways, what would you suggest I buy out of the four, or should I go ahead and build my own comp? PS I can go over on the money by probably 100 or so since I have already reserved a sum of money for a new mouse, keyboard ect...

[Edit: The fresh tech does have an onboard graphis card does it not?]

I'd suggest building your own, you'll get more for the money, if you'd like to I could put some parts together in a list for you to look at?
The freshtech only has onboard cpu graphics, not a dedicated graphics card.

Do you plan on overclocking?
Also, do you have any parts you can use from your current build? Like hard drives, disk drives etc

I'm not sure if you need a HDD, Optical Drive or case but this is a decent base system:

Woah, looks very very nice for under £500! :) Thanks a tonne for the work you put into finding the components :D Is that all required to build a decent, stable gaming computer? And yes I will be buying a new case. I'm also not too sure wether I have an OK current hdd or optical drive, my current specs are down below (how embarrassing :p). To answer your questions firstly it's unlikely I will overclock to be honest since the prices of water coolers etc are quite substantial for a student like myself, additionally I have various important exams and stuff to take care of within the next 3-5 years in which I will have to limit my time to gaming. This pushes me away from putting the money and time into over clocking, however there is a possibility I would do it in the future just an unlikely one.

Secondly my current computer isnt even a gaming PC but instead a work thingy. I doubt any of its components will be any use to me. If you wana check it out for yourself here ya go (HP Pavilion Slimline S5000): http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1134528
If anything stands out be sure to record it, thanks again :)

No problem :) It will be a decent gaming system. What kind of case are you looking for? Would you like me to adjust the build slightly to compensate for the case cost?

Hmm, the build looks very solid as it is - I'd hesitate to downgrade it due to a case, if you were to readjust the cost for a case what would be changed? Also here are a few cheap cases I've stumbled accross, please give your opinion on a suitable one both in the way of the cases attractiveness, quality for the build and cost :) (Below that case also) http://goo.gl/RY72h6

[Edit: The PC will also need cooling I believe, will fans do? If so could the system be cooled by my current PC fans, I believe there are 2 medium fans (4x4" one on the processor and one over the motherboard) and 1 small fan cooling something else.]

I would select a slightly lower down CPU if needed. The case looks okay to me, it can take graphics cards up to 300mm which is good, it has a front fan and space for 1 at the rear. You could use one of your case fans for the rear fan slot, assuming they are 120mm.
You need a HDD and an optical drive is optional but you will need it to install windows, can you use the one in your current pc?

Ok, if you were to downgrade the CPU, would that effect any type of gaming noticeably? If not then a go ahead with the case and readjustment of the cost would be great. I would be buying an extra 12mm fan separately since my current are 100mm so if you could quickly add this onto the list that would be great. No cost adjustments for this fan. (Don't really mind about going above 500) http://www.amazon.co.uk/ARCTIC-F12-Standard-Noise-Case/dp/B002KTVFTE/ref=sr_1_2?m=A17AS5ETPMZ9A1&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1437315657&sr=1-2&keywords=120mm+fan#productDetails
By the way do you know if that fan needs any extra cables to get it up and running... I believe a three and four prong are supplied with it.

Additionally do you think the hdd and optical drive in my current build would work?

The specs are in a like above somewhere, thanks again your your help :)

Early next week I'm going to go ahead and start buying the parts for my computer, but before I make any purchases im going to plan the build out and work out the costs of everything I need. At this point in time I have an idea of what I'm going to buy to build a PC for approximately £500 (give or take) but I don't have a definite list that will produce a stable build which it feel uneasy about since this will be my first time building one :??: If possible could you (or someone else) answer my questions above and possibly produce a final list of components asap :) If you could I would be so grateful! :D

Ok after a bit more disecting of my computer I have found that the HDD is a Hitachi HDS721050CLA362 With a capacity of 500GB, the DVD is a HP with the model of DH-16ABLH-HT2

Also I was just wondering if it would be worth it if I sold my current PC as a whole for 100-200 and obtained a new hdd, dvd,OS with the extra money

Also the list looks great at :D

If 500GB is enough for you, you can use your current HDD and also the DVD drive.
You could sell it as a whole but you may get more money if you sell what you don't need separately.

Ok cool, it was just since I'm a first timer and know little info on the components + it seems like a hastle when I could just sell it as a whole, I thought it be more logical. I'm kinda stuck in a dilema at the moment, what do you propose. Also I have never sold anything on the Internet before, do low range computer components sell quickly? Or for reasonable prices?

I was also flicking through this http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,review-32901-5.html and I would mind dropping from an i5 4590 to something like a 3570k or a 2550k to save a little money (not sure how much) since I heared the (k) brands are good for gaming somewhere and upgrading or downgrading a few tiers won't make a noticeable difference at all. What are your thoughts on this?
