MSI gaming app restarts anytime I adjust the mode.

I recently switched video cards from a Radeon R9 380 to an Nvidia GTX 970... I liked using the MSI gaming app. I'm new to all this and liked that I could get a little extra juice by just clicking a button without messing with a bunch of stuff I am clueless about. I removed all the old drivers and software that came with it and put all the new stuff on it. Well for some reason, now anytime I want to change what mode I'm using on the MSI Gaming App it makes me restart the PC. It never did this before with the R9 380. Anybody know what the deal is? Is this just an Nvidia thing? Thanks for your time.

LOL i use the app but only gain 50 mhz on the r9 390X in OC mode so don't bother I reckon the 390X is clocked right up near it's limit anyway which is a lot of power coming from a HD7850 (that's the card you shoulda got 390X :)
8 gigs Graphics memory it's awesome !!!)

Thats funny you said that. I had to switch to the 970 because my PC wouldnt keep the AMD drivers for some reason. I started having problems with the memory not working in dual channel, I researched and found out it was a bent pin on my mobo and fixed it. I tried another AMD to see if that was the problem and it worked that time so I swapped out the 970 and got the R9 390x. I love it!! I was still within my 30 days so I got lucky. I'm happy now!
