recently i started getting random hang problems on my pc which i recently built couple of months ago

specs:
- i5 4690k @ stock 3,5ghz
- Gtx 970 @stock
- corsair vengence ram @ XMP 1600mhz
- 64gb HDD kinston v300
- 1tb HDD
- antec 80+ gold PSU 650W
- MSI pc mate z97 mobo

all my GPU drivers are up to date and my bios is up to date too. i recently did nothing special to my pc but it suddenly started to randomly freeze

on the win 8.1 event viewer it says event id 41

i tried searching for fixes online but no luck when i tried them

i ran sfc test on CMD, this was the result- http://gyazo.com/a5a90b999987ddd583b28797c0e7d48a

can anybody tell me what is going on because i m worried :(

event id 41 means that your cpu has had a power surge. basically meaning that the problem can be with your cpu, mobo or psu. try running prime95 and furmark at the same time, if it crashes near instantly after you start both the fault might be your psu.

I would do windows 7 as well. I've had problems with windows 8 in the past, some from adding a new GPU to a new CPU both times making me reinstall windows 8 because it wouldn't boot up all the way. Try windows 7 and then see what happens.
