Replacing MOBO with Same MOBO. Do I need to re-install all drivers?

Hi,

I will be replacing my Asus Maximus VII Hero MOBO with the same exact one (this one's Ethernet port is having issues). My question is: will I have to reinstall the drivers for it, or will I be ok since they are on my SSD? Everything is staying the same, only installing a fresh MOBO.

You should be ok if it's exactly the same, sorry to maybe point out the obvious but have you considered a Ethernet adapter for the PCI slot? You can even get them for usb ports too.

Ok, so I should be able to install new MOBO and be good to go? And I thought about that, but the MOBO is under warranty so I just put in an RMA for it and got a replacement.

Oh cool, yeah if it's exactly the same then nothing should need to be changed.
