So my computer keeps on randomly freezing. What would happen is it would stay frozen for a few minutes and then the screen would go blank and it would say "DVI no signal" but the computer was still on and it didn't blue screen. After that I would hold the power button to restart it but when I do that nothing shows up. I then have to keep holding the power button and I keep turning it off and on then off and on and off and on and I keep doing that until finally something shows up. I've done multiple virus and malware scans but they all showed nothing. Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

You'd first have to determine which was at fault. Does your PC have integrated gfx that you can use? If so, remove the card and run on that for awhile to see if the card was the culprit. That would be the cheapest test. Next would be replacing the PSU if the card wasn't the problem.

Does only video cut out, or do video, audio, and peripheral devices (USB connected devices) all stop working as well? If it's just video, you might be maxing out your video card memory. If memory is being maxed, you might want to consider disabling Windows Aero, and/or dropping down to one monitor (if you happen to be using two).

If it's a case of all things stopping besides the tower itself, it might be your PSU, CPU, or motherboard like the rest of the thread pointed out. And as far as "fixing" goes, realistically people just go out and buy new components. But if you have any technical expertise, you might want to look for bowing electrolytic capacitors and replace them as needed (your PSU caps will probably be through-hole which is easy enough, but motherboard caps are most likely surface mount, in which case I wouldn't bother), Outside of capacitors, if you have a multimeter and oscilloscope and have a basic knowledge of circuit analysis, you can find deeper rooted issues.
