To start off by NO MEANS am I a hardcore competitive gamer. I was looking at the Acer H236HLbid for my Xbox One and PC. Would it work well with them? I am fine with the 60hz and 5ms response time. I am going with IPS just because I like visuals over performance. Please let me know if it is worth it. Thanks!

Hello Duz7, the Acer H236HLbid is a fantastic choice for gaming on both PC and console. The monitor has 1 HDMI, 1 DVI-D and 1 VGA. If you're looking to display both your Xbox one and PC on the one HDMI port for the best picture quality, I suggest you get an HDMI switch to switch between the two. Other than that, I have the exact same monitor for my PC and its worth every penny. No ghosting, crisp clean images and fast response times, perfect for gaming. There's even an output audio jack on the monitor so you can always hook up a sound system or just plug in your headphones.
