Its been about 7 years since my last build and i want to build a new more compact system. So i decided to chose the mitx form factor. I will eventually do a bit of gaming on it but i will grab a gpu later on when i have a bit more disposable cash. For now im just focused on building a nippy mini itx pc.

Components :
Processor- core I5 4690 (with stock cooler)
Motherboard : gigabyte H97N 1150 mitx board (built in wifi and Bluetooth)
Case : Either a coolermaster elite 130 or Antec ISK600 MITX case.
SSD drive any that has good read write speeds and 240/250 gb max price of £80 (for os and some programs)
PSU: any decent make for a reasonable price. I dont think ill be able to afford a fully modular psu but im hoping i can pick up a reasonably priced semi modular psu around £60ish. Would something around 500-600 wats be sufficient juice for a radeon r9 290?
Ram: 16gb of anything 1600 mhz as mobo dictates. (or could i just buy whatever is on sale and hope motherboard adjusts accordingly)
I will be reusing my existing 3tb hd to save a bit of money.
Any help would be appreciated.

I suggest the Phanteks case, very good looking and nice small form factor. For this build I have selected 1x8 in case 2x8 doesn't fir into the your budget.

The great Super Flower 550w power supply will allow most single GPU's to run in this system.
