Will this PSU be enough?

Hi TH!

I was planning on getting the R9 280X by CLUB3D, and along that i was going to get the EVGA SuperNOVA GS 550W 80+ Gold PSU. My CPU is the i5-4590 and I will not be overclocking my MOBO or GPU.

I was just wondering whether this PSU would be enough for my system. Thanks!

Well thats a good psu, a 600-650watt unit would be more ideal but 550watts is enough. The 280x will pull about 250watts max so that leaves 300watts for the rest of your system which is enough.

Yes agreed a 280X will be fine on that PSU. I run an R9 280 and FX8320 with a mild overclock off a Corsair CX 500 supply with no issue, and your supply is quite a bit better than that.
