Motherboard for gtx 970.

Solution
This motherboard you mention doesn't exist.
If you mean H81-S2H, then yes a GTX 970 and i5-4460 will work absolutely fine on your motherboard

Sorry for the mistake, H81 S2H is what I meant and thanks a million for the reply. I had to check as it is a cheap mobo. It won't hold anything back?

No it won't, relax.
The main difference between different motherboards is the features they support like CrossFire or RAID and the number of ports and expansion slots. As long as a motherboard has the correct socket for a CPU, it will work and there won't be any difference in speed.

You're welcome :)
