I currently have a Cooler Master G650M 80+ Bronze rated PSU. can it handle The GTX 980Ti or even the FuryX ? NB: the processor i own is the I7 4790K (Consumes around 84-86watts)

With its 52A/624W +12V rail it should be fine for the 250W GTX 980 Ti. It's right at the minimum spec for the FuryX, but should be fine as long as no OC'ing is involved. Here is a handy chart to go by for "roughly estimating" PSU minimum sizes: http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm

But in reality, it will depend on the +12v rail's amperage and wattage capacities as well as the quality of the PSU.
