Hello I have asked a couple of build questions here, and now I am less than 5 days away from ordering my parts for my first PC, so I was wondering, Do I have a solid,(nearly perfect), build at this price point. I specifically am buying from only amazon or new egg. If there are any changes that you would make, it would be very much appreciated. My maximum limit for parts would be pretty much 1350 USD because i need 30 dollars for mouse and keyboard.

It's enough. I didn't say it wasn't. :p

I just don't like the idea of bordering too close to the maximum, it makes you think twice about future upgrades and overclocks.

I was looking at amd but shadowplay is what made me go with the 970

Using a CX500 on a system like that is asking for trouble. :p

The PSU should be one of the last parts you should cheap out on, it's as important as the other hardware, if not more.

Try SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze.

If you overclock maybe some headroom with Noctua NH-D14.

For shopping look at all the combo deals as well as clearance and daily - weekly sales.

520 bronze it is. thanks guys. sorry if this isnt allowed but i have a small uncertainty, im getting the strix over msi because of backplate cuz of something called pci sag. is this really bad or can i go with the better msi

I wouldn't use a 520w power supply for that. Just get the M12II 620w. It's fully modular too.
And maybe a better SSD. Idk, not really a fan of Kingston SSDs. And trust me when I say 120-128gb is NOT enough. I learned that the hard way.

Get the ASUS Strix if it gives you better peace of mind. They're the same GPU, just with custom cooling and clocks. You can mess with the latter easily.

why is 520 not enough the tdp is under 400? and asus strix it is. SSD is mainly for boot drive and apps and smaller games.ill get another one later

dont plan on upgrading in a long time
and thre is still tons of room for overclocking thank you everyone
