I successfully recorded gameplay. The raw AVI file has the video game audio, game video, and my voice while playing it. It looks and sounds fine when playing the file in windows media player, but I hear no voice (me talking, recorded from USB mic) in the video editing software and in the final render of the video. It has the same problem if I upload the AVI file directly to YouTube as well. I get game audio and game video, but not recorded voice when I watch the video anywhere else but WMP.
What is going on and how do I fix this?
Thanks!

I can't help you myself, but I can suggest more information.
"I successfully recorded gameplay." What game, and using what tool?
What video editing software are you using? I doubt that that will be the difference since, as you said, uploading it unedited to YouTube loses the commentary.

So anyone out there know how two audio channels seem to be stored separately?

Driver SF and I used Dxtory to capture the gameplay.

I am a novice so I don't use premium editing software. I use AVS video editor. Being it was basic, I thought it might be the software. so I downloaded a trial version of adobe premiere elements and same thing. Plus the same thing with uploading the raw file directly to YT. Its almost like the an audio channel is separate and somewhere else, and when you move/edit the file you break the link or something.
Thanks for your help.
