I am having so many problems with my internet connection. Most noticed on my wireless but also on my hard-wired. ISP says it's not a issue on their end. Linksys (my router) wants me to pay them a service contract for their tech advice. I have no experience at internet issues. Everyone just wants me to buy new equipment. I don't want to spend money on new modem and router until I know what causes the issues Im having now. I hope I can post pictures to show what is happening. Dropped connection and extrememly slow internet are is the main concern. Constantly dropping connection on my wirelss, and i beleive on my hard wired connection as well.
Help! Internet issues all over the place!

First test the connection directly to the modem, bypass the router. If that has a solid signal for you, re-connect the Router, reset it to factory defaults (you will need to setup the wireless connection again) and check for a firmware update, it should be in the options on the router setup page.
If that does not help you, but the modem was working fine, replace the router.
