buying a new mic need help

im buying a new mic for better quality and better sound i know you can spend a ton of money on just a mic not even counting the amp i wanna get this mic http://www.zzounds.com/item--AUTAT2035?siid=61203&-yqI5xxYJ4Stka9j4MaJR8lZemYGrQw2R8b8qho_hoCseXw_wcB= but im really positive what i have to get with this mic and i really dont wanna spend a ton of money but i know it wont be cheap so if someone can help me and tell me what i need other than just the mic

The mic you are looking at is very nice, (had experience with the AT2020 USB) I personally use the Blue Snowball, It's been rock solid and performs very well. so check that one out too if you want USB.

i actually have a blue yeti now and dont get me wrong its great i just dont really want a usb mic anymore
