is it a good micro atx motherboard with decent gaming capabilities? I`m planning to pair it up with a A10 7870k APU and a Asus GTX 750ti strix oc

Solution

Take my FX 6300 build this best CPU at this price in Japan latter buy better cooler and OC CPU :)

APU is only worthy when you go without discrete GPU, cheap builds :)
Is no point for you to take A10 7850k

If you plan on serious overclocking go with a 6+2 phase Motherboard and stay away from the MATX, ITX solutions. Take it from me I am on the same chipset my specs are in my signature. I also agree with Death Rabbit. Buy the 860K and a dedicated GPU and stay away from the APU.

The FX 6300 has inferior single core performance to the Kaveri CPU/ APUs, but will serve you better in intensive multi threaded tasks. If you are strictly gaming budget wise go with the 860K and overclock it or go with the Intel 4460.

You cannot find X4 860k in Japan shops :/
About mobo for OC X4 860K I using 3+2 Phase and have stable 4.4Ghz on 4,5Ghz my cpu cooler is to weak and I hit thermal throttling :)
4+2 https://www.asus.com/pl/Motherboards/A88XMPLUS/ is good until you not plan LN2 OC ;)

FX 6300 is very good CPU with OC to 4,8 he go very close to single performance on X4 860 4,3Ghz in synthetic benches, and 2 additional threads helping in most new games :)

Example in Wither 3
http://pclab.pl/art63116-47.html * FX-6300 = FX-6350 - only have higher stock clock they OC very similar

You can also take cheaper mobo http://www.dospara.co.jp/5shopping/detail_parts.php?bg=1&br=21&sbr=493&ic=428300&ft=am3&lf=0 but this cheaper only by 3,5K JPY and I do not know if this is worthy to take cheaper ;)
Cheaper do not have SATA3 and USB 3.0
Only if you not want OC to much max OC 4,4- 4,5Ghz , but you need add fan to cool down VRM heatsink :)

When you will have this PC at home, I can direct you how OC this CPU to have stable performance 24/7h for years.

This Asus mobo is decent and on stock speed you need cooling on VRM , you probalby can push your CPU up to 4,4Ghz * will be good if you add small fan to cool down VRM section.
Or better buy heat-sinks and install on VRM + Fan on it :0 and maybe you hit 4.8Ghz :)

I initially wasn't looking for aggresive OCing the mobo, but this is still pretty useful, and I might take a better look into it. Thanks!:)
