hey guys, currently i got GA-H77M-D3H, but i wanna try to overclock my i5-2500K, so can u guys suggest me some good cheap mobo around $70-80?

i also got DeepCool Gamerstorm Maelstorm 120K, do you think its good enough to be used for overcloking? i got 37-40C on idle temp, 60-70C(FIFA 15) on light gaming, and 75-80C on heavy gaming (GTA V), if so whats the best clock to be overclocked at? 4,2? 4,3?

Thanks
Pardon me for my bad english

If your temps are already over 65°C without being overclocked, you either need a different cooler, need more case airflow or need to repaste the CPU properly. Overclocking a chip that already gets that high of temps is likely to be destructive.

Are there any preferred locations you can order from or do you have to purchase from local shops? If so, I'd need to know what models those shops have. If you can provide the link to an online retailer you are able to order from I'd be glad to make a recommendation.

hey thank your for the answer, idk about voltage, all settings are default so maybe 1.2V or 1.25V..

well that price is over my budget, thats about $100 but if u think thats the cheapest i can get, i think itll better if i save some more money to make my budget higher
if about 100-150 budget range, can i get an asrock / msi / asus motherboard one?

and about the temp, if 75-80C is high on stock settings, do you think its still good (or safe) if i overclock? or should i just use the stock settings?

sorry if im asking too much
