I am planning a mITX build with the newly (not really) released Cougar QBX case. It's a tight case so airflow isn't really that good. I read a review where the GPU would throttle (I think it was an R9 290x, sorry AMD boys). I've decided to get this case and adjust everybody else (fans parts etc.)

Here is the current build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/
-case here is not the QBX, the QBX is not in pcpartpicker yet
-the 960 i plan on getting is the MSI Tiger OC 4GB (which I can't find on pcpartpicker)

Notes:
1. This is DEFINITELY a budget build.
2. I AM NOT future-proofing this build. I just plan on recycling the GTX960 on another (bigger build)
4. YES, I will be OC-ing as much as I can, 4.0GHz as a minimum.
5. I am in the Philippines, we have limited stocks and brands available. (e.g. only available SFX PSUs are Silverstones)
6. THIS WILL BE MY FIRST BUILD SO PLEASE PLEASE be patient with me.
7. As of the moment, I'm not considering an air cooler vs a liquid AIO since #1 the components will probably have the same price here, and #2 aio cooling is cooler (i mean like, aesthetically) ahahaha
8. For now, I plan on aircooling this mofo using 2x Noctua S12s, 2x Noctua P12s, and 1x Noctua R8

Any thoughts or suggestions?

BTW, the pcpartpicker link is just a reference for the build. Pricing is way different than what pcpartpicker provides #3rdWorldProblems

The 970 is a good card but make sure you get one that runs quiet, despite being more efficient etc. My GF's EVGA 970 SC runs a bit loud for my liking. Your pc will only be as quiet as the loudest thing inside.

That CPU will definitely hold you GPU back.

Reversing the rear intake would help you CPU temps

My only concern is that your GPU might run hot if the air it expels has nowhere to go easily

Because the 4690k costs 3 times more. ahahaha :))

BTW, nevermind this question. I'm very stupid. I did not realize that Noctua supplies PWM Y-splitters with their fans.. ahaha
So what will happen is that the x2 Floor Fans will share one header, the x2 Top Fans will also share another header. :))

Anyways, let's just turn this thread into a discussion. :))

Basically all the components except eh AIO and the RAM are final.

At the moment I'm looking at DeepCool's Captain 120 for the AIO, any comments?
Available "same price" options here are: CM's Seidon 120V+, DC's Maelstrom 120K
MORE EXPENSIVE options are the Corsair H50/60, and the Kraken X31

I cancelled this build..

Reasons:
1.) The Z87I disappeared from my fave store..
2.) I had an epiphany that this is supposed to be a budget build. So I'm rebuilding this into a H81 matx. I'll probably post a discussion thread later if i have the time.

Thanks guys :)
