Hi!
I have an Toshiba C855-2GJ PSKCEE Laptop.
It has very respectable graphics card and CPU (I can run BF3 at 30-40 even 60 FPS)
I decided to play Dota 2 on it.
I am used to get 100FPS in Dota at High detail models, 1280x720 resolutin with unselected checkboxes (vsync, AA, shadows, high quality water, and others ).
When I enter in battle everything is fine but after 10-30 seconds the FPS drops suddenly from 100 to 20 and lower !

TF2 has the same issue

I tried everything to keep it running at 100 fps.
I stopped steamwebhelper.exe using steamwebhelperkiller.bat
I installed Game Booster 3.
I DONT HAVE ANY VIRUSES !
I defragmented HDD. I even set Dota to run at lowest settings possible and I still have 20 FPS in drop from 100 :(

I request help mates !
Please!

Thank you for your answers.

@velo3100
50 degrees celsius for CPU and around 40-55 for GPU.
I replaced the thermal paste to see if it will work. :(
I cleaned the cooler and the motherboard of the laptop using my vaccum ...

Have you downloaded the latest drivers? Another thing is that it maybe using the igpu. Try changing the settings to use the dgpu instead in the graphics card control panel. Another thing maybe is that your power supply may not be giving enough power to the cpu and gpu that is making it slower.

My laptop came with its battery charger and I still use it and it is always connected to laptop.
And all the latest drivers are installed m8!

Maybe the battery charger is faulty? You will know if it is as you can check the voltage when playing games and then compare it to what the manufacturer says it should be when it is in load. The other thing I can think of is that the wifi module may not be that good in the laptop as dota 2 is an online game. Is your ping good while playing?

I have a constant 100 ping in dota in all matches I play (more exactly 99ms).

Have you tried cleaning out any junk like cache as this can slow down gameplay as it is on the hdd and takes longer to read.

Or if that doesn't work try refreshing the pc. Make sure you back all your data before you do this as this often gets rid of the programs that you use. This should make the laptop back to normal.

If this doesn't work try find the latest bios version as this may help.

If this doesn't work then I am really not sure.
