Any system will support any graphics card if these requirements are met:
1- The MOBO must have atleast 1 16x slot.If you have 2 GPU you'll need 2 16x slots.
2-The Case must have enough room.If your case is one of those old silver coloured , stainless steel cases, chanses are you'll not have enough room for the latest graphics cards. And some Hard Drive slots may not be usable.
3-The PSU must have enough power connectors, along with enough power.

If your motherboard is gen 2 or gen 3, and you have pcie 6pin connectors for your gpu from your psu, you should be fine. Just but the gpu in the top pcie slot of your mobo, the dark blue one.

Yes, the SPU is a good brand. The GTX 960 uses 120W, so you can get 2 GPUs in SLI without problems. But does your MOBO have 2 16x slots? Because you'll need them for SLI.

If you're going to be getting a new MOBO with 2 or more 16x slots then you'll be grand! (If you didn't know "Grand" is something irish people say as "You're set!"). Oh btw if you need MOBO suggestions, just let me know. ;)
