At the office I work at, we will be getting a new employee shortly and I needed to create her account and get her started. I have the account all set up I think, I'm able to log onto the domain with no problem.

But now I'm trying to set up her mail account with Thunderbird. I have all the right ports and settings for when I set up Thunderbird, but whenever I click "done" to finish it says the username/password is incorrect. So I'm assuming theres somewhere else where I need to create her email address on the network. But I'm not sure where, I'm pretty sure I've created all her appropriate folders and everything

We have a mail server and some FTP servers.

If anyone has any ideas on what to do, let me know!

Thuderbird is an email client. You have to set the user up on your mail server. As you don't say what mail server, or even what server operating system, you are using it's a little difficult to be more specific.

Well the thing is, in this office everyone uses Thunderbird. It's our default mail program.

And the problem is everyone has an email like: myname@mydomain.com.
That's what I'm trying to get this user, I don't think the previous tech guy here used anything like hotmail or gmail to create the email.

No you can host it off your'e domain in the cpanel and then use thunderbird as the mail box. You set it up in your'e webserver cpanel.
