FRAPS Lags my computer, help?

I have FRAPS v. 3.4.7
My RAM: 8GB (7.74GB Usable)
My CPU: AMD Phenom II N660 Dual Core
My HDD Space: 217GB, 60GB free space. (Can someone help me get some more free space? Thanks !)
I have windows 7 64bit Professional

If any more information is needed, please comment.

what are you using FRAPS for? you can expect a 10-20 FPS drop while recording with FRAPS, unless you have a very strong CPU. The phenom II will bottleneck while FRAPS is recording.

I am currently using fraps to record steam games like Unturned or TF2 on the lowest settings (It's pretty much the only way I can get 60+fps on tf2, and 30+fps on Unturned)

yeah there's not much you can do apart from get a more powerful CPU. While FRAPS is recording it uses CPU resources, which reduce the frame rate. I have a GTX 960 and FX8370 4Ghz and still lose 15fps when recording.

How exactly could I replace a CPU on a laptop?
(Might help knowing the model. (Lenovo Z565))
