I am not able to get a video output out of my gfx card. I Unmounted the gfx card and tried on board graphics and that works no problem every time, but only when there is not a graphics card in EITHER slot on motherboard.
I tried a friends old gfx card that he had lying around. still nothing on the Videocard output. i tried different cables to my monitor, nothing.

I believe it is a Motherboard issue but wanted to post on here first before sending it away for a few weeks. Please help.

Here is my motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-157-293

Most bioses have a setting for which GPU your computer will attempt to use first. Make sure this is set to auto or pci-e.
Have you connected the proper power cables to your GPU? They won't work without them. You are plugging your monitor directly into your GPU, right?

I checked the bios, and there was no setting for which port to use for signal. Cleared the CMOS. Still
Nada. Also cant get any signal out of on board gfx at all now. I have concluded Mobo is dead.. Has to be.
I have contacted the manufacturer and am in the process of Rma'ing.

It could be the motherboard, but I don't think that is very likely. Don't be surprised if the replacement they send has exactly the same problem.
The BIOS setting may be difficult to find, but it is there. If you can, I would have someone double check that you have everything plugged in correctly.
If you are using an old bios with a new gpu, you might also look for an update to the bios.
