Greetings,

My PC was working great then suddenly, with no software or hardware changes, this started happening.

When I press the power button, lights and fans come on, then nothing. Sometimes, after literally 5-15 minutes, it beeps once then boots up. Most of the time it doesn't beep or boot at all.

Thinks I've tried, none of which made any difference:
1. Resetting bios
2. New CMOS battery
3. Different power supply
4. Different RAM
5. Different video card
6. Disconnecting everything but motherboard, processor, ram, video card, psu

At this point it's looking to me like my motherboard is dying/dead. Before I buy a new board and completely rebuild my system I figured I'd post this and see if anyone has any other troubleshooting ideas. Thanks

Well you have pretty much ruled out everything other than the motherboard, so i agree its probably the motherboard.

Most of these steps wont apply to you but if you want look it over it may help.

Is your warranty expired on that motherboard? It has a three year warranty so you might want to consider that before buying a new mobo if its been less than 3 years since you bought that.
