Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 using 1600mhz could this cause problems?

hello everyone

I have built a pc and when I try loading windows 7 onto it, it starts then BSOD's or restarts. I have read this motherboard can only run 1066mhz I think with O/C ability's of 1333mhz could my system be BSODing because I am using 1600mhz ram.

any help would great I have been struggling with this problem for 3 weeks now

thank you ill try that when I get home from work. I have heard it should auto change it to that?. how much of an impact will that cause to performance ?.

PC specs
CPU: AMD fx8320 black edition
MOBO: Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
GPU: Radeon r9 270
RAM: 8gb 1600mhz (not sure on brand)
PSU: 750watts (not sure on brand will check when home)
HDD: Seagate 1tb (formatted already)

anything else just ask
