I am want to build my first gaming PC, but I have no idea where to start. My price range is $1000-1200. I have no parts picked out so I need suggestions as to a good place to start for my first build and/or any tip you can give me for my first build. The $1200 does include mouse, keyboard, and monitor/monitors.

Went a little over, but it would be worth it in my opinion. However areas in which you could save to bring yourself back down to $1200 would be going with a locked processor and getting an H97 motherboard instead of a Z97. Or drop the SSD if it's not of importance to you.
