Asus Sabertooth X79 -- Boot Device LED

My system ran great for several years. Suddenly last night it crapped out -- appeared to reboot but went to a black screen. Now when I try to boot I get the Asus splash screen but it won't boot into Windows and I can't even get into the bios. The board cycles through the cpu, and ram LEDs but then hangs up on the boot device LED.

Fans are working and the board is clearly getting power. My boot drive is a Samsung SSD. I've tried clearing cmos, unplugging everything but one stick of RAM, GPU, PS, and keyboard. Same result. Running i7, OC'd to 4.5 with Corsair water cooler. Temps have always been fine (80 at max load).

Is my mobo hosed? CPU? Any suggestions very much appreciated.

I'm running an ASUS P8P67Pro and i5-2500K. See my thread just below yours. I guess it's about time our mobos took a dump. I bought mine back in 2009/10. And now it seems everything is crapping out, so I'm thinking Mobo too.
