Nokia Lumia charger does not register,why?

I bought a Nokia Lumia Droid windows and the chrger worked once, then never again. And since I've tried different ones and nothing seems to work. Could I have burnt out the USB port?

If several chargers are not working (that function on other devices), than it is either the charging port, or the battery. You can try a 3rd party battery to exclude that as the issue. You can also try the data cable to connect via a USB port to a PC as that should be able to charge the phone as well, although slower than plugged into the wall.
