What's the best fan setup for a Phantom 410 NZXT case?

I noticed that when I bought the case, the top fan is intake, the side fan is intake, and the front one is exhaust. I went ahead and bought another top fan (140 mm), a side fan (140 mm), and a front one to replace the 120 mm(140 mm). I would like to know what's the best way to set up the fans in this case , or any case anyway. I'm still new to PC building too and I just bought a 980 TI that's coming in the mail.

this sounds very stupid to say, but isn't the fan either intake or exhaust based on the direction of the fan? On the front, it's facing outward, so it's pulling air from inside the computer and pushing it outside of the case ? I was a bit drunk when I had this debate and my mind is a bit fuzzy this monday morning/
