Am I just a newb at this or what? I'm trying to have 2 displays set up for my pc, 1 is my monitor on my primary GPU and 2 is my TV using my second GPU. But for some reason my Samsung HDTV is giving me a "Check signal cable" or "No Signal" error. But it works when I connect my primary GPU to my TV it works :fou:. So please tell what I'm doing wrong.

In crossfire, only the top card works for video output, so use the same card for all outputs. The other card only does processing data that is sent from and to the first card. The 2nd or 3rd or whatever card in a crossfire setup has no working outputs.

I believe NVidia SLI, you can use outputs on whatever card, but not AMD.

I have the ASUS Radeon R9 280X 3GB DirectCU II, in a 2 way crossfire. And I assume you you mean "Why"? I have 2 in crossfire because I use my PC for gaming and regular pc stuff as well.

Well that sucks, and is this true that male DVI to male DVI do not produce any sound? Even when using a female DVI to male HDMI on a TV? This is for an alternative way to watching movies on my TV through my primary GPU that has 2 DVI female connectors.

Sound on ANY TV sucks. You don't want sound coming out of those puny TV speakers. You want to invest in a pair of 20$ speakers. Those, while poor are leagues above anything that TVs can put out. In short, forget about TV playing sound and get some decent speakers. Even the cheapest speakers you find will be much better than what a TV can produce.
