Hi guys,

I'm planing on setting 3 "aoc i2369v" monitors with a dvi-d port each on my asus r9 280 which has got 1 dvi-d, 1 dvi-i, 1 HDMI and 1 display port.... i understand that technically i can plug 2 monitors via the 2 dvi ports which my 280 has, but i need an HDMI-dvi or diplayport-dvi adapter for the third one.. is that right.. or should i do something else?? please help me.. (sorry for my bad English)...

Looks like no body knows :p .... Anyway, I tried it and it WORKS... i just connected the 2 monitors to the 2 dvi ports my graphics card has and connected the other one via a cheap normal hdmi-dvi adapter and it works thanks god.... They didn't work first, but when i restarted my pc and clicked on "detect screen" on my ATI Catalyst panel they worked together.... Also i had to create an eyefinity group and blabalbla...
Thanks anyway guys and i hope my answer will help someone else....

Thanks for posting, even though no-one answered your question, I got an R9 280 as well, and I'm gonna try to run a triple monitor setup as well, gonna try the same thing you did (wish me luck :p)

Sorry for the late reply, but all I did was get a normal DVI to HDMI cable for 8 $, and a 20$ DVI to MiniDP, and apparently the 20$ cable must have had an active adapter in it already, because it works fine, didn't have to buy any extra adapters :)

Guys I bought the same card 4 days ago and I can't get to work.
I bought today a DP to HDMI adapter and still nothing.
Is there a possibility old drivers conflict.
I deleted them though..
Shall I make a clean format?
My setup is :
Two monitors 24" portrait and one 42"(middle) landscape.

It is very likely you bought a passive adapter, you need an active adapter, check the description of your adapter, if it doesn't say anything like active adapter, it's a passive one.

Yes, you should, the 20 euro price difference already kinda indicates that it is an active adapter, and it also says in the title, so yes, it will most likely work if you get one of these.

Hello guys i am D34thW4lk3R i cant login with google account there is no option anymore dont know why!
So i bought the active adapter the 3 monitors work fine though i couldnt make PLP eyefinity i dont know why!
I tried old drivers that i read in forums that they worked in other people but nothing happened !
I also read that you can ONLY PLP with r9 285.
Any ideas? I am desperate :(
