Hello!
I am looking for an upgradable gaming laptop under 1500 dollars.
I usually go with desktops and have not really taken a look at laptops much so the whole world of laptops is new to me. As I am off to college soon I will need a laptop for myself. So I would like a nice sub 1500 dollar gaming laptop that can be upgraded in the future so I do not have to buy a new one in 4 years.
Cheers!

I think you'll be happier with the Asus Rog you found. It looks like it was build to be tore down. http://rog.asus.com/375732014/g-series-gaming-laptops/gallery-g751-upgrade-guide/
The MSI one appears to be upgradeable except for the cpu and gpu which is most likely the things you'll want to upgrade. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4xbILQgU8Q
The MSI one has a slightly better graphics card, but since you're looking to upgrade the difference is negligible. http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=2745&gid2=2143&compare=geforce-gtx-965m-2gb-vs-geforce-gtx-860m-2gb

generally, laptops are not very upgradable. the usual idea is to buy as much laptop as you can afford now so you go as long as possible without having to get a new one. there is just so much custom parts involved that changes each new generation to be able to upgrade older ones with new parts.

Thanks! I looked through it the MSI GS60 appeals to me most I think. I was also looking at this one: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T7EXKLG
Do you know which one of the two would be best in terms of what I want? (desktop replacement, more or less upgradable)
