I have a 2 year old Alienware Aurora R4 Tower computer my components
Intel I74820K 3.7 ghz(stock speads)
240 gb Kingston hyperX ssd (runs windows)
2 TB western digital Drive 7200 rpm
Gtx 770 2 Gb (Stock clock speeds Referenced cooler)
4 gb DDR3 1333 mhz Ram (Dell ram)
875W Dell Power supply
Alienware Motherbored

This computer has had alot of history as far as parts being swapped out This computer received new ram 3 times from 8 gb to bad 16 gb to 4gb as spare Intel i buy new components to the system The motherboard also has been Replaced due to motherboard acting up with referenced memory errors and what not referenced memory errors went away since i put new ram in.But now i think my Gpu is gone. I Ran stress tests on the computer and everything checks out ok
running stress tests on the gpu on valley benchmark went good toped 91 fps on high but laged to 8 fps sometimes. My power supply seems to be ok i havent notice anything that would be wrong with it but i hear when it comes down to monitors going black and into sleep mode when in game or in regular could be many things cpu stress test showing nothing so i think its the gpu or psu my games will freeze most times after a hour of use saying the nvida drivers have failed and recovered then computer laggs alot after that has been done my monitor shrinks reseloutions to lowest settings sometimes and i get some weird screen movements that are all boxey and colors show with it but do not take up the whole screen you can still see the desktop after that you can barly use the computer and must restart manually not through windows.Restarting the computer that way also makes my keybored not work intel i shut down and restart it from windows what could be the issue?Im spending money this week buying new ram to 16 gb and 2 sli gtx 970's if its the gpu thats causing it thanks for info
