Im having a problem with my R9 295x2
Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/lilhobojoe/saved/XhyBD3

The problem is that ill be playing any game wheter it be League, Arma, DayZ, and it'll just freeze from anywhere from 2-10 seconds. I have already Installed all drivers for everything in the system from their manufacturers website. I have tried the way of uninstalling the GPU and all drivers and Re-installing them. I havent tried changing express slots. PLEASE HELP (p.s i connected the correct cables for the power i already checked that)
EDIT 1: Added Urgent and When playing league of legends there is screen tearing (rarely) but image overlapping and stretching of the transparent image overlay the image that randomly pops up happens very often

Solution
You are coming off as trying to make a Tier 2 unit look like a Tier 4, or worse. The G2 is a tier 1 unit, so obviously it is going to look better. The B2 750 did very well. Jonnyguru nitpicked on cabling, and that is what dropped the score the most. It is an 80 plus bronze unit that managed to hit silver.

Superflower is the one OEM that actually challenges Seasonic. The quality of the PSU is not the issue here. It is a great unit, just not quite suitable for this system, due to the space heater of a GPU. This would have handled 2x GTX 980's with ease.

Its and MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Motherboard 850W PSU

http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/will-my-power-supply-power-a-r9-295x2.207721/

but is it a solid high quality psu ??? all I see is with that card you better have parts to back it up ??

I like this part here with the term ''may'' and then notice there all 1500w

''following power supplies may meet the minimum power
supply requirements for an AMD Radeon™ R9 295X2-based
system:*''

http://www.amd.com/Documents/Selecting-a-System-Power-Supply-for-the-AMD-Radeon-R9-295X2-Graphics-Card.pdf

then you see best answer here - well that's all good but what about the rest of the system needing its full power ??

http://www.amd.com/Documents/Selecting-a-System-Power-Supply-for-the-AMD-Radeon-R9-295X2-Graphics-Card.pdf

to be honest like all psu / vid card / system threads theres never a straight solid answer to them ??

my deal is that's 2 cards worth on one pci-e slot that's speced to provide 75w .. this is why I say can the board hang with it ???

you can read up on reviews like here and see what guys say on theres as well looks like a lot of hit or miss ?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150710

I found this interesting ??

''when it comes to these high end specialty cards PCIe compliance no longer matters. In the case of the 6990 and now the R9 295X2, AMD is essentially designing to the capabilities of the hardware rather than the PCIe specification''

that kinda goes to what I said above

Speaking of power, it’s worth pointing out that AMD’s official system requirements for the R9 295X2 call for a PSU that can deliver 28A per 8pin PCIe power connector, with a combined amperage of 50A. For most PSUs this means you’re looking at an 800W PSU being required for a single card, and a 1500W PSU for a Quadfire setup.

800w for just the card or total system ?? is they seem to state for a card not phrased as total system ???

http://www.anandtech.com/show/7930/the-amd-radeon-r9-295x2-review/2

then It could be a matter of drivers ??

The power supply is a quality one, but doesn't leave much headroom. 850w in a build estimated @ 750w. Those 295x2 are power hungry beasts. You might need to bump up to a 1kw GS or G2 unit. On the quality side, I see nothing wrong. What were the CPU and GPU temps?

the required power suppl age was 751 W for the system and i knew that the 295x2 is a very demanding gpu so i went ahead and got an 850W

well its back to the old $1200 build and I went with a 60 buck psu how many time do we see this ?? [opinion]

150 board 320 chip and so on but then go cheap on what I conceder the hart and life blood of the system I have to treat the psu equal to the rest of my build

if I can afford a 320 buck chip and all I sure as heck will get the best of what I can find rated build quality gold .platinum top tier psu for it as well

theres a reason why a top psu is 100+$ and then theres the budget ones there not cheap cause all the best build parts and quality went in them . right ?? I hate to come off sounding mean and hatefull but ........
[more opinion]

They didn't choose a bad PSU. It is a B2 series Evga 850w. If you would have looked at their price list, you would know this. ;) I just fear that it is a bit on the low side, given the 500w graphics card.

I look I did not say it was 100% junk but its not a unit to choose for these type of parts with the requirements like of the gpu- [opinion]

like I said its cheap for a reason not that there good sports about it - but i'll agree about the power

like said form anantec amd builds these card with out regard for atx / pcie specs - that tells me its a at own risk part ???

now look at the disassembly of the b2 and the g2 [using the 750w cause these no b2 850] wheres the beef ??

my eyes hurt

looking over here at this ??

http://www.overclock.net/t/1483021/official-amd-r9-295x2-owners-club/7120

I started from the latest and read back ? maybe the place to post ?? notice how a psu is brought up its a grand +

''What would happen if your PSU can't cope with the load:
•Bad 3D performance
•Crashing games
•Spontaneous reset or imminent shutdown of the PC
•Freezing during gameplay
•PSU overload can cause it to break down

it the psu aint super topnotch quality it maybe suffering
