I have purchased a new barebones set up and bought the RAM separately. On the Corsair packaging it says that it is optimized for intel motherboards. I have the following motherboard cpu ram set up: ASRock 990FX EXTREME9, AMD FX9590 8 core, Corsair Vengence pro series ddr3 2 x 8gb 2400mhz. Will I have to alter my BIOS or anything to get the RAM operating at 2400 mhz?
