Hello there, I am in need of a gaming computer. I have 500-600 dollars to spend. I can go over 600 if its really worth it. I'd like it to be able to play some new title games. Thanks

Couldn't he scale back on the PSU, because that card doesn't need that much power and it will save him money, and he may need an OS. I think the FX-6350 is a pretty good CPU, a lot cheaper and good enough to not bottleneck.

That PSU is the cheapest PSU I can recommend. Anything lower wattage is more expensive, that I can recommend.

Also, it is not even close compared to the i5. For gaming, it will make a big difference and there is no comparison between them.

CPUBoss is never a place to base information off of. If you want to base your info of them, then look at performance per dollar. THEY ARE THE SAME! SO by that logic, the i5 is better.

Generally, games dont use 6 cores. It is better to have a less cores and better performance with each of them. It also wont just make gaming better, but general usage.

Also, AMD chipset is dead, there will be no more CPU for that chipset. Intel chipset can be used for a while (as the new skylakes will run on h97 with BIOS updates)
