Hey guys,

So, every time I attempt to play CS:GO, League, Or any other game, at random times during the match my screen goes completely black and my pc crashes shortly after. I cannot CTL-ALT-DLT to bring up task-manager or access the Desktop. The only remedy is to force shut down my computer. I cannot pin point an exact action that triggers this crash. It does not occur on any one particular map and it seems to happen at random times within a match (e.g. sometimes it happens within 1 minute of a game, other times after 15 minutes). When I restart my computer there are no indications of a crash, except for the last time and I received this error message:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 2057

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 116
BCP1: FFFFFA80100A9010
BCP2: FFFFF8800666C128
BCP3: FFFFFFFFC000009A
BCP4: 0000000000000004
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\072015-8205-01.dmp
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-13072-0.sysdata.xml

I have done a memory test to see if my RAM had any errors but it passed just fine.

Any advice?

Firstly, can you make sure you have the latest graphics drivers? The best way to do this would be to download DDU and run it in safe mode. This will remove the older drivers much more efficiently than Windows' Device Manager. Next, go to your video card's manufacturer website (Nvidia or AMD) and download the latest beta drivers for your video card.

Black screen without blue screen crashing sounds like your GPU, I would uninstall drivers and re install the newest drivers.
If its not an instant shutdown and you're having to manually force shutdown it doesn't sound like its CPU/RAM
Download OCCT and check your Temps while playing games if your able to, it could be software or could actually be the GPU that's overheating causing the black screen.

I would suggest you to update the drivers for your graphis card. First of all, Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.
Then in the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.

If there are any available updates, click the link in the box under Windows Update to see more information about each update. Each type of update might include drivers.
Now on the Select the updates you want to install page.

Look for updates for your hardware devices, select the check box for each driver that you want to install, and then click OK.
There might not be any driver updates available.

On the Windows Update page, click Install updates If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
These sites will help.

If you cannot find the drivers, then go to the GPU manufacturer’s website download the latest drivers and install.

Regarding my bad wording of the force shutdown - sometimes it'll automatically shutdown my system, or I'll have to turn the power button off.

I've also previously monitored by Temps using Open Hardware Monitor and both of my GPU's sit at 58 degrees

As you can see, the source of the crash is from display hardware. I'm not going to be so conclusive as woody1999 here just yet - might I suggest reinstalling display drivers? Boot to safe and run DDU then install from Nvidia's driver install service (sorry, don't know what it's called). Try to keep the OS from installing video drivers, as those are often a bit out of date. Also be sure that the PCI-e contacts on the cards are clean and the power cables to the cards are plugged in snug.

After typing that thing into command prompt yesterday I have now since not see any crashes and am hoping that
it stays this way. As it may be potentially fixed I am going to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling all my drivers, however I will do this if my problem persists.

Thanks guys!
